As you are behind the bar, you can crawl towards the back door without anyone seeing you. Then return with the other Bronson men for a better chance...
- Mayer, take Rosana and get out from here! - shouts hidding behind the bar.
Everybody was telling him to flee, even his own inner voice, but he was tired to flee. This was going to end here for good or for bad.
As I have been shot first, can now defend without rolling for winsdom?
Jack waited for some seconds so the people could leave the space between him and Stanton.
Then took a bottle from behind the bar and throwed it to the end of the bar close to the door hoping that could distract Stanton the time he need.
When the bottle crashed, Jack stood behind the bar aiming his gun at Stanton's heart.
Mayer took a few steps towards the bar and made sure all the bystanders were heading out, especially Rosanna.
-I ain´t goin nowhere, Jack, he replied calmly. He and Jack went back a long way, but things had changed. He had changed. He took out his tin star and placed it on his jacket. –I´m a deputy here in Sabbath now, and I will uphold peace.
He had made his choice. But he was not prepared to fight his old companion. Not without a reason. –Jack, I´m putting my gun back into the holster… I ain´t gonna shoot you. Let´s parley1.
1parley = talk
Only four men were left in the saloon now. The poker game was over. Now, the bet was their life. Jack was hiding behind the bar, out of sight from the other three men. Ryan had his gun out, and he was waiting to see how Stanton reacted. Mayer was moving towards the open end of the bar, with his arms wide.
Dekker grabbed a broken whiskey bottle from the floor as he listened to Mayer. The odds were getting worse by the minute.
If you decide to go ahead with the plan, roll 1d20 Dexterity (less than 13) to see how you throw it. The small door to exit is below the stairs, Mayer is moving closer and he will see you soon. The other two are on the other side of the bar.
- You uphold peace also to the Mormon's kid after making him dig his own grave? It is hypocritical to talk to me about peace keeping hands when they are as bloodstained as mine - told Jack to his old companion laughing sardonically - I started to regret that Alacran didn´t choose better his target.
One against three was a very disadvantageous situation and he wasn't as crazy as Alacran.
This have been a unlucky night. All plans have been spoiled from the first to the last.
He wasn't a coward but neither he was suicidal. He put Choctaw's gun into his holder and looking at the bottle of whiskey on his hand he threw it over the bar to the direction of Stanton. If he had some luck remaining perhaps it can hit Stanton's head.
Then quickly escaped by the small door under the stairs.

I would like to try to recover my rifle. Perhaps I can ask some Bronson's man or the prostitute could throw it to me from the room.
As Mayer approached the bar, suddenly a bottle of whiskey flew towards Stanton and almost hit him on the chest. This caused him to back off, and instinctively he pointed his gun that way. The sheriff Ryan also lost his concentration and knelt down for cover. Mayer was first to react, and he drew his gun and moved towards the open end of the bar.

Mayer had a view of Dekker´s back as he went through the small door. He could have tried to shoot… But he couldn´t. He didn´t. Not now.
-Run Jack. Flee, and don´t look back. Next time, I will kill ya.
The lines were drawn, and the two former pals were now on different sides of the fence.
Mayer reached Dekker´s position first, and put his gun away. Dekker had vanished! The other two came to have a look, and saw a small door about 5 feet high under the stairs that lead to the storage room and from there to the back alley.
Dekker had escaped, and soon enough they could hear a horse gallop outside.
[AFTERMATH]
And CUT! Scene over! Alacran is lying dead on the ground, and Mayer and Dekker have met again, this time on different sides of the fence. All is set for the final confrontation! Well done.
