FEEDBACK TASK NR 12 (JUNE 2017)
@FARIS
Good read as usual. Please be careful with the irregular verbs:
*to bite => not *bited but BIT (it's bite-bit-bitten)
*to throw => not *throwed but THREW (throw-threw-thrown)
Punctuation: do not use the Spanish question marks to start a sentence:
.¿persnickety?¿elitists?¿jerks?
He was sure that it wasn't empty when he got his deliveries for this morning at the posthouse => it is OK, but I prefer "He was sure that it hadn't been empty (...)" since you are writing past tense and the second verb is before the first. Not sure how to explain this properly, sorry :)
No sooner has he sat and was the plate in front of him (...) => No sooner had he sat and there was a plate (...)
the "There" in front of "was" is mandatory. Also the first verb should be in the past tense
frown to => "to frown" is used with "at" or "upon"
Other than these small mistakes, the story was very entertaining and well constructed. Good job!
